SASSA Will Take Expert Services to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it is alarmed regarding the high variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a significant quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA sassa status check services.

“This is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office dedicated to service the area on a daily basis. The provider point developed for intervention ordeals a high influx of probable beneficiaries, that makes it difficult to the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more here assets to help the servicing of all customers and boost use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
